Tell us a little about yourself.
I am married and a father of four. I’m very active in my community and outside of assisting veterans, I also work with many less privileged individuals and families in improving some aspects of their lives. My parents are my light and a great part of my life. I’m a God-fearing man.

What is your role at CL&A?
I’m a field coordinator and my main role is to assist veterans in getting from a homeless state to stable housing. I help them see the beauty, importance and joy of having a home. In addition, I work with these veterans to come up with goals to help improve and to establish some consistency in their lives. I also utilize the company-based treatment plans and annual psychosocial to assess the Veterans’ development status throughout the process.

What would people never guess you do in your role?
I believe that I motivate some of my Veterans on other issues that they may have from time to time. For example, employment opportunities, family matters, relationships and education.

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy seeing the expression on the Veteran’s face when they enter their apartment for the first time. Many of them have been homeless for quite some time and seeing the look on their face is priceless.
