Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born on the beautiful island of Barbados and immigrated to the United States at the age of 13. I worked with the Veteran population for seven years and absolutely love it.

What is your role at CL&A?
I am a Senior Field Manager/Case Manager at CL&A. My duties include managing a caseload of 30-35 Veterans to assist them with obtaining and maintaining permanent housing.

What would people never guess you do in your role?
People would never guess that I wear more than a case manager hat in my day to day operations.

What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy working with Veterans and see them go from being homeless to obtaining permanent housing. The most exciting part for me is to see them leave the shelter system and move into their own apartment. I also enjoy providing them ongoing case management services.  In my experience working with Veterans I have seen them go on to find employment, reunite with family and some returning to school to learn a skill/trade or pursue higher education.

How did you first learn about CL&A?
I learned about CL&A when I started working for their previous subcontractor three years ago.

What do you like most about CL&A?
