I was born and raised in Los Angeles, middle child of three children, raised by amazing parents. I went to undergrad at San Francisco State University, explored different fields related to my major in sociology. I finally decided to go back to school for my Masters in Social Work in 2014 at Cal State Bakersfield. I gained so much knowledge, but knew I wanted to take my skills elsewhere. I had the opportunity to take my first social work job in Humboldt County in 2016, and never looked back. This beautiful area offers so much, and its perfect for me and my dog.
